Has it been over a year?

Well obviously I am not good at this blog thing, but I need to get better! I thought I would catch you up, if there is anyone that even follows my blog any more : )
Brett got into dental school at Midwestern in Glendale, AZ!!! We are super excited and happy that he was able to get in! I had no question that he would, but he was nervous. We spent a lot of time with our great realtor (Angie Sant : )) down here looking for houses last spring. We were able to find one that was close to the school so that Brett does not have to commute anymore! He was super excited about that. He graduated with his bachelors in May, and to celebrate we went on a cruise with my parents, his parents, and his little brother Lance. It was so much fun!!! I will have to be ambitious and post some pics of that!
We moved down here the beginning of August so we could do some work on the house and get settled in before he started school. We are truly blessed with great families! His parents and my mom were able to help us move down, and stayed for a week to help us paint and get unpacked! They are the best ever! It is truly an amazing blessing to have both our families be so wonderful!! Who knew a house was so much work? Just kidding. I don't think it will ever end though. But we are happy that we own a house and aren't wasting our money on rent. I have come to love our little house, and I am sure I won't want to leave it in four years. We have really nice neighbors, and we have a great ward as well. They are so friendly and welcoming. I look forward to many memories with our ward members! : )
Brett started school this week, and I also started my job. Brett is already studying his little heart out. He is excited, but knows it is a lot of work! He said they went over a semesters worth of information in one day! I can't imagine. I'm glad it's him and not me! He will do great, I am sure! I was really happy to start the same time as him, I don't know what I would do all day by myself! I got a job at an Endoscopy center, for those of you who don't know what that is, it is where people go for colonoscopys and EGDs. I will work in preop, assist during the procedure, and work in recovery so it should be fun. I have enjoyed my first week : ) It is also different being out of Utah and being one of the only LDS people there. The doctors don't remember my name yet, but they do remember I am LDS. I thought it was interesting. However, everyone I work with is nice. The only bummer is that it is in Scottsdale, so it is a commute. But I only hit the evening traffic so that is a plus! I am definitely not used to big city traffic.
I will have to post some pictures later of all we have been up to. Thank you for all the love and support from everyone! We are truly blessed with great family and friends!
